Technology Master Plan

Discipline: Telecommunications
William Koehler was involved in a technology master plan for NHMCC.
The project involved the construction of five (5) new buildings
located north of Houston, Texas, with the anticipated enrollment
of 9,600 for the opening semester. The team prepared overall design
standards and identified current and emerging technology trends
and alternative technology approaches.

Rice University
Telecommunications Master Plan
Houston, Texas
Discipline: Telecommunications
Lynne Randall and William Koehler were involved with Rice University
in developing a long-range telecommunications master plan. The
plan addressed components such as facility needs, carrier services,
alternative local services, cable and cable pathways, equipment
rooms, future growth, instructional and curriculum needs, and
the convergence of voice, data and video network. The team prepared
an assessment of university needs and specifications for the implementation
requirements of the plant. In addition, they provided the technology
planning for several new buildings on campus including the James
Baker Institute, the new humanities building and the graduate
student housing complex. These projects consisted of development
of a cabling infrastructure for voice, data and video, computer
& CCTV network design and extension of the existing voice
network from the main University PBX.

Tarleton State University
Science Building
Stephenville, Texas
Disciplines: Audiovisual & Acoustics
Members of Trilliant Technology Group provided audiovisual and acoustical
consulting services for the new science building at Tarleton State
University. The new facility includes multiple lab spaces, and an
auditorium with multimedia support, in addition to a planetarium.
